Michelle Beadle has reached a new, multi-year agreement to remain at ESPN to co-host SportsNation alongside fellow co-hosts Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley.

“Michelle is truly one of the most authentic voices in sports and the connection fans have with her is something she has earned through the enthusiasm and insight she brings to her job every day,” said Connor Schell, senior vice president, ESPN Original Content. “Michelle is a tremendous talent within the ESPN family and will play an important role in the evolution of SportsNation going forward.”

In addition to her SportsNation duties, Beadle will join ESPN senior writer – and SportsNation and espnW contributor – Ramona Shelburne for their new national radio show called Beadle & Shelburne. The new radio show will premiere Feb. 14, airing Noon – 2 p.m. ET from ESPNLA 710’s Los Angeles studios.

“I feel genuinely fortunate to work with so many friends and talented people at ESPN, who make every day such fun,” said Beadle. “I think that joy is evident to our viewers, and why I am particularly excited to be here for the next several years.”

Beginning February 8, SportsNation will move to the 4 p.m. ET slot on ESPN, joining an established weekday programming lineup of debate, discussion and opinion shows such as Highly Questionable at 4:30 p.m., Around the Horn at 5 p.m. and Pardon the Interruption at 5:30 p.m. In its new slot, SportsNation will evolve into a 30-minute format and will continue to be produced by senior coordinating producer Kevin Wildes and coordinating producer Richelle Markazene.

“SportsNation has always had the youngest daily-show audience on ESPN2 and one of the most engaged with social media brands at ESPN,” said Wildes. “That’s largely because the show and the brand are a reflection of the talent’s intelligence, editorial sensibilities and wit. As SportsNation moves to ESPN, we look forward to continuing the show’s evolution and growth.”

Michelle Beadle returned to ESPN in March of 2014, as host of SportsNation on ESPN2 alongside commentators Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley. The trio discusses and debates the day’s hottest sports topics on the LA-based studio show.

In May 2012, Beadle joined NBC to serve as NBC Sports host and Access Hollywood correspondent. Prior to then, Beadle co-hosted SportsNation on ESPN2 with Colin Cowherd. She also co-hosted Winners Bracket with Marcellus Wiley, part of ESPN Sports Saturday on ABC and has contributed as co-host of ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning.

Before joining ESPN, Beadle worked at 1050 ESPN New York as the New York SportsCenter anchor for ESPN Radio’s The Michael Kay Show. Beadle, who was also previously the pre- and postgame reporter for the New Jersey Nets, has been a studio anchor, reporter and host for the YES Network on shows such as the Emmy Award-winning Ultimate Road Trip; SportsLife NYC; and Yankees on Deck.
