A new era for Canadian golf fans begins this week when CTV and TSN debut their exclusive Canadian coverage of THE MASTERS, live from historic Augusta National Golf Club from April 6-10.

Marking the first year of CTV/TSN’s new media rights agreement, the networks will bring Canadians more coverage of THE MASTERS than ever before, with full coverage of the third and final rounds of THE MASTERS on CTV, an expanded slate of viewing options for the opening rounds across TSN’s five national feeds, plus a dedicated feed of the famed Amen Corner available in 4K Ultra HD on Bell Fibe TV and Bell FibreOp TV.

CTV and TSN’s new expanded Canadian coverage of THE MASTERS features the following highlights:

  • A one-hour ESPN SPORTSCENTER AT THE MASTERS special airing today (Wednesday, April 6) at 5 p.m. ET on TSN2 with a preview of the tournament
  • An expanded broadcast window beginning at 11 a.m. ET each day with live coverage of bonus feeds including the Featured Groups, Holes 15 and 16, and TSN AT THE MASTERS hosted by James Duthie at Augusta National, featuring highlights, analysis, and live look-ins to the bonus feeds
  • First two rounds of the Tournament broadcast on TSN
  • The third and final rounds of THE MASTERS broadcast on CTV
  • A dedicated feed of Augusta National’s famed Amen Corner available in 4K Ultra HD throughout the Tournament, with TSN’s 4K content available on Bell Fibe TV and Bell FibreOp TV
  • MASTERS PRIMETIME highlight shows each evening on TSN and looping overnight on TSN2, recapping the day at Augusta National

Live coverage of the Tournament on the TSN AT THE MASTERS feed is hosted by James Duthie alongside analysts Bob Weeks and Mark Zecchino, who are on-site at Augusta National. As announced last week, the networks’ original coverage also features contributions from 2003 Tournament champion Mike Weir, who will compete in the 80th edition of THE MASTERS and join the panel following each round. Along with delivering daily news updates and analysis for SPORTSCENTRE, the panel recaps each day of the tournament with MASTERS PRIMETIME at 11 p.m. ET. Throughout the tournament, SPORTSCENTRE’s Cory Woron delivers frequent highlights from the TSN Studio.

“THE MASTERS is a tradition unlike any other, and we are proud to deliver new expanded coverage to our viewers,” said Shawn Redmond, Vice-President, Programming, TSN. “Fans can experience THE MASTERS across CTV, TSN’s five national feeds, TSN Radio, our full slate of digital platforms, and in stunning 4K Ultra HD, amplifying the Tournament to greater heights than ever before.”

Golf’s first major of the season features a star-studded field that includes defending champion Jordan Spieth, three-time Green Jacket winner Phil Mickelson, two-time champion Bubba Watson, World #1 player Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott, Sergio Garcia, and many more. The action begins with golf’s biggest names competing in THE MASTERS PAR 3 CONTEST, airing today (Wednesday, April 6) at 3 p.m. ET on TSN1 and TSN3.

TSN’s coverage of THE MASTERS is available for live streaming and on-demand viewing to TSN subscribers through TSN GO. French-language coverage of THE MASTERS is available on RDS.
